Re: GlowShift Gauges

Don't have the car anymore, had to move about 5 months ago so we could only take 2 cars. I sold my GTP and my Camaro and got a GTO :) I never got a chance to mount the gauges, although I still have...

Re: How should this run on a stock tune?

Ok I adjusted the tune for the new injectors and it's running a little better. It seems my knock is gone in both partial and WOT. Other than a 1* spike when I jab the throttle but I think that's...

Re: How should this run on a stock tune?

No clue. I do know the PO rebuilt it to be a daily driver and get decent mileage so my guess is stock style bottom end. Another symptom, apparently the exhaust smells bad. My wife drove behind me...

Re: How should this run on a stock tune?

Tried stock FP and bumping it up a bit too. Replaced the O2 sensor twice, both times using heated sensors. I don't know the compression, is there a way to find out? Heads are 87 IROC heads AFAIK

Re: How should this run on a stock tune?

I've checked the plugs, they are white so I do believe the lean condition is true. As for the MAF, I don't really know how to check it. It seems to be reading like I would expect.

Re: How should this run on a stock tune?

Just an update. I replaced the injectors with Bosch III's, 27lb. Also put in a BBK AFPR (bad choice since the plenum contacts the adjustment screw... Even without adjusting for the bigger...

Any vacuum source, it comes with tubing and a T so you can splice it into any line.

$140 shipped for the 3 gauges and the dash pod. That's with a 10% off coupon code that I can't remember at the moment, but ill add it to the first post when I do.

Re: Injectors bad?

Ok so I redid the balance test with the ESC and the IAC unplugged. The BLM's reacted the same. Here's the RPMs:

Base idle: 600-650 it was very lopey

Drivers:
All - 650-700 rpm (RPMs went up...

Re: Injectors bad?

Looks like the coils are fine, everything was between 16.7 and 16.9 ohms. I guess I'll have to do another power balance test.

Maybe an easy out bit, or you could try dremeling a slot in the head and use that to get it out. Those are the ways I know, there are probably better lol.

Re: Help! O2 pegged lean, but running rich!

Re: 90 engine, 89 ecm/prom in '88
