Mine pulls. All the way through , just won't go into o.d . I'm gonna jack it up and make sure the plug hasn't come loose from the tranny, and change the fluid and filter.

no overdrive

to make a long story short i ran my car last week at the track ,on the way back home it will not shift to overdrive. so i tow it home checked the fluid and im a quart and a half low,so i top it off...

problem solved ,i had the fuel pump relay plug in backwards.

update!!!!!!!!!! after retracing wires and looking over everything, i found that i plugged the fuel pump wire in backwards.. its alive now

after harness install on my 89 gta , i have no power to my fuel system.fuel pump connector to battery gets hot when plugged up. no voltage to fuel pump,injectors,or tps. car will start with starting...

yep ,ground wire get real hot! i guess it's the body ground runs from the back of the head to the frame. if i take it loose the car will just click .

same problem here ,mine started after changing the heads on my car. starter wire gets really hot. today i moved the negative cable to strut mounting bolt, starter wire no longer gets hot ,but ground...

sounds like clogged injectors ,also check your coil wires. sometimes they break inside the cover.
