One of the companies that make the conversion is www.shiftworks.com (http://www.shiftworks.com)
You will need to do some modifying on brackets and have a cover made.
Or put it in the #292001 model...

Here's a little help for the people that don't think this is moving fast enough. There is a company out there that makes a conversion kit that you can turn a older hurst dual gate into a overdrive...

No, It wasn't enough to start reverse engineering process..They want one in their hand...What you could have done is helped look for one that they needed. Like, I did...But,You sat on the sidelines...

They have been trying to locate a complete shifter.
When Hurst was sold they didn't keep one or the plans to build one.
I sent people to them that had a complete shifter but, they never contacted...

I was going to call them on monday to find out what is going on.
I have a complete new one in the box..If they are reproduced it would be
6-12 months before they could be ordered..

They need one to see if they can put one together from their parts or use one to make the parts. When Hurst was sold this item was Discontinued no one has the molds to make one they need a complete...

They said if enough people wanted a "Hurst Dual Gate 2 Shifter #2920000"
with overdrive for a 3rd gen they may start reproducing the item....
