camaro has the hiccups

i have a 92 tbi 305, my problem started a couple weeks ago when cruizing down the highway it would spit and sputter...not all the time just once in a while, now it even does it when its sitting there...

i havea car that sat awhile, when i put the new pump in i didnt clean out all the tubes on the sending unit....i kept trying to hear the pump run but all i did was ended up burning up the pump,...

i put the trans in neutral and the shifter in neutral then tightned the nut. the cable comes too far out of the sheathing and binds up....

out of patience!

i have a 92 rs heritage edition, i replaced the motor with the exact same thing that was in it, a 305 tbi it has a 700 r4 trans, in the process the trans fell off the jack an ripped the shifter...
