A story worth telling... and maybe closure?

Hey all, it's been a LOONNGG time since I've posted. I haven't owned a third gen in a very long time, either.

This, however, makes me mad. Back in the August/September timeframe of 2010, I had...

Re: Since our forum has been dead. Post your winter thirdgen project plans.

Nope, lol.

I parked my 91 Bird two weeks ago (just before we got NAILED with snow) and I haven't moved it since. Now it sits on the side of the road, under about 6 inches of snow.

I'll start...

Re: Since our forum has been dead. Post your winter thirdgen project plans.

That's because is the fricken dead of winter and no one wants to freeze their a55es off working on cars that are not good in the snow.

LOL yeah, no thanks. I froze my A55 off enough all this weekend to keep meat fresh for a week.

My main focus now is on the interior. It's about 80% complete.

So in the absence of that sensor, could the engine get really BAD fuel economy, and run extremely rich all the time?

That's what was happening. I haven't had a chance to take it for a test run...

Yes, it's not the EXACT sensor. The one I have is a little shorter and has a plaster washer molded into it. The connector looks the same but the point is mine installed and working now.
