Summit has a 700ft lbs capable alum unit (claiming made in USA too!) for 359. Seemed like lots of guys doing same thing to get rid of the vibrations. So, ships monday. Here we go.

You were almost spot on with this - but it was the OTHER side of the connector, which I could not wiggle around from outside the tank (and under the car). Had to pull tank again to find it.

As I said above, I was wrong about that fact - the pump wasn't being commanded to run by the ECM under those conditions.

As far as a choke on the exhaust with the 7875, once I hit 7 psi, the wastegate will be open anyway in theory, so less of a choke at that point, right?

Slow spool + T56 doesn't sound as fun as it could be. So perhaps it is worth the extra bucks to get a smaller, lighter turbo (better hotside longevity maybe), that will spool faster. For the guys...
