That's a good price on the brackets with pulleys and waterpump....but Ya know, I just bught an ac delete pulley from the dealer for like $33 out the door.

OK....I'll let ya in on something alot of people have forgotten about. If you get a stroker crank and a set of stock 400 rods(5.56" I think), you can use stock 350 pistons. That's how the original...

You do know that you can't just slap a crank in and be done with it, don't you? You'll probably be able to reuse your rods, But you'll need pistons with the corroect compression height for a 383....

I used Glyptal paint on all the interior surfaces of my 383 block. It fills in all the pores of the cast iron and keeps oil from sticking to ANYTHING. It also seals the surface and keeps the oil alot...

For high rpm power I use nothing but solid cams. Before I toned down my 383 with a hydraulic roller set-up, I was using a solid flat tappet cam shifting at almost 8k. I checked valve lash, but hardly...

Never used any sealer of any kind back when I had those on my 84. I had 2.5" duals with flowmaster 40's dumped at the axle and I never once had that slip tube leak. Ever.

What pan's are you guys running with a set of shorty headers with y-pipe? Years back I ran a moroso 7qt pan but I had to flatten the crossover pipe to the drivers header because it wouldn't fit...
