For the most part they used New Venture Gear NV3500 which were light duty truck transmissions. Not really meant to be a performance trans. Probably better off with a LT1 style T56. It would bolt...

it depended on the car. if the car didnt have a oil cooler it was just a hose that went from the water pump to the lower left on a 4th gen radiator. so i just went to the only opening on a 3rd gen...

negative. the upper hose for a 1994 camaro has a stam hose on it so i used a brass fitting to mate them together.

question 1: it dont matter. it cools just fine.
question 2: looks good
question 3: this is where it gets interesting. the "blue" tube connects here. i had to tap that tube with a hammer 180...

a stock gmc syclone/typhoon ecm. im using pretty much everything off a parted out typhoon. im just going to have a harness made though. dont really feel like splicing a typhoon and a camaro harness...

i will be building a turbo 4.3 from mostly GMC Syclone/Typhoon parts for a swap im planning. already picked up a complete intake manifold and exhaust manifolds with crossover pipe.

The 409 is an awesome engine. I say try it. Shouldnt be too terribly hard. Same Chevy bellhousing, same Chevy motor mount locations.
