not sure about all of it, but the red arrow line should be vacuum feed to your cruise control unit. it should be direct to vacuum i believe. the other hose sitting on your canister purge, not sure...

EGR valve on my truck motor, goes to an EGR solenoid mounted on the intake manifold near the EGR. There's a vacuum line that goes to the input on the solenoid, and the output side goes to the EGR.

get a scanner on it when you have the sensor hooked up and see what it's reading for engine coolant temp. Sounds like the sensor is the problem, but that's only way to make sure without changing it....

I believe that's correct (at least on the alternator), but not positive. IIRC, the alternator on those is on the driver's side, while the starter is passenger side. So likely the starter/alternator...

Thank you for the response. I went back and checked and found the fuel pump i had was insufficient for the job, so upon upgrading the pump, problems 1,3 were fixed. Hard start was just building...

no you should not hear any air noises if everything is hooked up properly. Check and make sure all your vacuum lines are properly connected, spark plugs tight, etc. You should also have PCV valve...

that's an oil pressure feed for an oil pressure gauge or sending unit. if you're not using a mechanical gauge, just plug it off. Or replace it with an electronic sending unit so you can have an oil...

ALDL is the diagnostics port inside the vehicle. You also have to unplug the connector for the IAC on the throttle body to get idle set properly.

Here's what you need to do. Check your fuel pressure. Get a gauge/testing kit somewhere (i think you can get a loaner at autozone), and see if you're holding good fuel pressure when it's acting up....

Most of your problem stems from the fact that you're not reading vehicle speed. I'm pretty sure the computer won't allow O/D if it doesn't sense speed as it doesn't know if it can safely activate...
