Pretty sure you wouldn't get that kind of gas mileage if you were truly turning 3200. Sounds more like tach is reading wrong.

i think that used to go to the stock air cleaner.the purpose was to warm the carb faster on cold start.but i thought it was like a shroud around the exhaust maifold that the heat came from. is your...

ok there is an ignition module in the under the distributor cap that goes bad on these take it out and take it to a parts store and have it checked out .

how about next time it doesn't start , try dumping a little gas in the carb to see if it is a fuel problem.

what makes you think it should be on? if the car is not throwing a code it will not come on, only when you first start it will it glow.

need a tpi throttle cable bracket
