yea i do like the idea of weight jacks. i just need to make sure they can be used when i do drift because i know that lowering springs cannot be used.

I was told there might be a fuseable link in the line to the starter so im gonna start there. its not putting out anything that i can see because the battery died as i was driving home with the good...

To my knowledge for an alternator to charge all you need is the ground the batt wire and the one that goes to the starter, and the volt meter.
so i have all of them hooked up right and it still wont...

also im pretty sure the heads are from the stock 305 because it had a tbi on the car when i got it and i had to buy a special edelbrok intake to fit them

I know that the block is a 350 4 bolt and 40 over but the heads all i know is 1.94 valves i got it all rebuilt last summer and found out the the pistons were also forged. so im basically looking for...

from the pictures ive been looking at i think you might be right that this is not an Lt1 block. I'm really not sure what the block is now

Yes this is a 90's motor but i put a carb on it. Do you think the carb style efi's handle boost well? or do you think a tpi setup would be better for boost? and ive need heard of a mpfi.

Im looking into the Lt1 intake but it seems people say they are not good for boost. Also have been checking into the efi carbs, like the EZ EFI system and MSD one or the Holley one.

i removed all that i could can everything still works except i lost my dash lights haha but atleast the wiring harness is alot smaller and no computer anymore
plan to fix it eventually now working...

Ok and now the 2 wire alt pulley is also heating up. Can anyone please help!? I dont know it it is from maybe a bad ground but it is grounded to the block in two places.

I had a 2 wire alt with the red going to the starter and the white to a tan/white or brow wire to the dash i guess and the battery wire to the post on the back of the alt. I have tried every wiring...

I think they are a stock set but im not sure how wide they are. the two smaller ones i tried to put on the front but they seemed to be to wide and hit the struts so I couldnt put them on. any ideas...

took a hack saw and cut a groove in the stud then used a screw driver to hold the stud then used a wrentch to turn the nut, but also used a torch to heat up the locktite to loosen it up.

If you bout the same kit i did then you are probably using the halogen bulbs it came with. try either buying the hid h4 kit or better halogen bulbs.

Thats what i was thinking. cut nut off then reweld the stud but i might see if i can get a stud off one at the junkyard and just cut the old one out and rewld the new one in somehow

Im trying to reseal the hatch by removing the painted part of the hatch and then resealing it, but when i began to remove the nuts the two on the right hand side the bolts began spinning with the nut...

my inlet is the water pump and outlet is under the rad cap but it wont flow through the heater core. any ideas? ( heater core is clear )
