I have an inline pump.. Timing is at 6*btdc. I use 89 octane..The pinging is rare. But when I was able to data log my blms were in the 150's.

Only replace what is broken...When you change to many parts at once it makes it very difficult to diagnose a problem. Many new parts today are junk right out of the box.

The screw adjustment on top is impossible to get too on the Southbay one..I swapped the scew for a bolt and now have no problems getting to it with an open end wrench...It is one noisy little sucker...

I have duals and 40's on my pickup..It droned so much it was driving me crazy. Added two resonators in front of the mufflers..Has a nice sound to it now and you can have a conversation in the cab.

Can someone explain to me why I can connect instantly every time, but as soon as I remove the 10k resistor the data stops flowing ??? It is really not driveable in ALDL mode. It pings like crazy..

Doesn't sound like your problem is your CTS then does it...I would go thru the adjustment of the tps and iac again and see what happens. It might just need to be cleaned out. They can build up a lot...

They are there to keep water from going directly into your air intake on the original setup. I plumbed my K&N to a spot directly in front of one on the driver side.

Replaced the computer with the spare that I have..I'll have to wait until the morning for a cold start. The fan functioned perfectly..I'll try to get a voltage reading off of the cts connector...

Engine has about 5000 miles on it...Runs great. Temp is stable according to the temp gauge, which was always in line with the cts until recently.
Mat sensor always gave a reading when cold which...

Last night I had 5 free minutes, so I was able to check the voltage at the connector for the cts. It was at 4.08, key on motor not running. That is almost 20% lower then the 5 volts afremont...

Cts and mat read 89* in the garage at 58*. The engine is very difficult to start.
After about 2 minutes the temperature is at 200*. Mat sensor reads over100*.
Ther is no way it can be that hot that...
