The check engine light has been comin on the entire 3 months ive had it i just havent had it checked cause everytime one thing gets fixed something else breaks im bout to say **** it and just park it...

put new distributor cap and rotor button on 89 camaro rs 5.0 throttle body and went to crank it cranked up fine but was idling rough cause of a crossed wire. Shut it off fixed the wires and went to...

I just replaced my sending unit and when i have a full tank it still only goes to 1/4 of a tank but if you punch it goes to full haha its just a weird thing on the cars i guess

its just a sensitive float man mine does the same thing and its a brand new sending unit

with a 400 SBC with a blower wouldnt i have to change out the tranny too? its a stock auto right now. If i have to switch it to a 400 turbo or something i dont mind cause i wanna make it a stick...

also its not JUST for drag racing i wanna keep ac and all that nice stuff i just wanna be able to take it to the local strip and not be embarrassed haha

i think im gonna stick with a 350 and beef it up i like that idea though but paint job cheap for a grand? this aint the first car ive had painted and im not gettin a fancy paint job probably flat...

thats what i thought but from what i found on these forums the vats checks the key only once and thats when you crank the car. So i dont think that would be it. I'll make sure i post back after i get...

yah im gonna have to buy a vats bypass module eventually also it runs perfect shifts great engine sounds great brand new fuel pump and fuel sending unit put in 2 days ago. Took it for a test drive...

i tried that and my multimeter gave me the number i tried to use the resistors i bought from radio shack. I dont know if i got the resistors on there wrong or if i got a dud multi meter but i hooked...

Ok so i found a video on youtube of how to disable vats using resistors. I did exactly what he said and it didnt work. The orange wire coming out from the steering column with two smaller white wires...
