It is the old name for the diagnostics port. They call it an obd1 or obd2 port now.

Did you ground the diagnostic terminal on your ALDL? It is the second one to the left on the top row. Run a wire from it to a ground and Turn on your key. I use the seat bolt on the floorboard. If...
