maybe i wasnt clear, all the action engaing and disengaing happens at the TOP of the pedal, i only need to depress the peddal an inch to shift and iit wont engage movement until i lift the pedal...

wouldnt the pressure be so great from the pressure plate that the fork face would still contact the back of the throwout and still be in the same spacial relasionship regardless wheather the spring...

I guess what I am saying is...for the 85 is the 5.0 REALLY the wrong sensor seeing it is used in 5.7 tpis from the same year? IDK just wasnt sure

I have an 85 iroc that had a 5.0 tpi, i just put the tpi setup on a 5.7 once i got it all set and running it threw a code 33, so i bought a remaned MAF and put it on and ran like a charm for about 30...

Lastly you said change the module? like the ecu? I have a 5.0 ecu should i change the prom in it? so far i have the stock 5.0 injectors and a 5.7 knock, EVERYTHING else is from the 5.0.
