If I remember correctly, if your car did not come with a cargo shade then you will not have the metal pieces behind the body panels to mount the shade mounts to and its a big PITA to put the metal...

You might be able to use one of those clear "eggs" that the 25 cent machines dispense to fit in there. Spray it flat clear to frost it or try a light coat of white on the inside and see if it shines...

I screwed my cargo shade mounts directly to my trim pieces without recessing them, they've held up so far and it works great.
