got it all back together and it has a slight piston wrap. i assume i hurt some bearing, will be doing a bearing in kit in the near future, well ill ever forget to check the oil pump again. they say...

I know what an oil pressure sending unit is..... I definitely pulled it and had oil should I assume the oil pump is bad? I can get one today if that's what you would assume

i drained the oil after i got home, there was at least 4 quarts of oil in the engine if not more.

ok so i finally got done swapping my 350 in for my 305, the motor is a 84 truck engine. well i pulled the oil pressure sending unit to scrape the block clean and me bein dumb i forgot to put it back...

I bought the truck engine out of an 84 k10 and I did the block numbers and it said 80-85 truck, and I don't have the 305 block anymore but it may have been newer but I bought it carbd and if I'm not...

I actually just put a new intake on the engine and I used silicone around the water ports but it didn't have coolant ports on the back half of the intake. Is that uncommon? Did I get the wrong...

Ok I have a 91 firebird with an 86 305 carb engine in, I just put on an edelbrock intake and Holley carb it was running fine, then it back fired so I rebuilt the carb and then it back firebird again...

Ok I did the regulator and sit idles better but the second I touch the gas it dies now, I read a coolant temp sensor could be bad, is that a good thing to try?

I barely have any fuel pressure so I assume that's the problem so I'm gonna try a relay then if that doesn't work I'm gonna try a pump

I have already checked for vaccum leaks but I'm not finding any I tried spraying starting fluid around the engine and didnt hear the idle change at all. I will check the iac port and if it is clear...
