Thank you its probably timing it ran fine before the tumbler broke in the on position tomorrow im going re time it but its not that big of a deal I have a new motor that's very close to being done

Yes I have fuel pressure and I get a flame through the tbi and the car will not fire up, and I have the edelbrock heads, and intake with upgraded tbi injectors but I went with a comp cam 8-500-8 and...

I'm going to upgrade the fuel pump sense it's an original v6 car I'm taking the rear end off this weekend to swap gears and dropping tank anyways so that's when I'll probably knock that out

and whats your recommendation for the edelbrock 6085 heads? i have edelbrock performer 3704 tbi intake which it calls for to complete the "Edelbrock power package"

Sorry that cam was a typo it's the edelbrock 3702 cam, and 3704 intake with 6085 heads, I also have an edelbrock 2101 performer intake spread bore just sitting around so i could do carburated too.

Oh yeah that 305 is worthless, i am gonna clean it up and attempt to sell it if i can't i'm going to buy a swb with no motor and put that in and sell it lmfao! and Yeah the complete wiring harness...

No kidding you would not believe the amount of laziness i have found in my car, when they did the engine swap they didn't remove the v6 wiring so it has double the wires. when they change spark plugs...

I haven't done anything to the ecm i'm afraid that the previous owner that swapped the 305 in left the v6 ecm it's an original 91 rs v6, but i know when you start the car the check engine light...

so go with the edelbrock cam? because the power package is the 6085 aluminum heads, and the 3704 tbi performer intake, and the 2702 edelbrock cam, i already have the 3704 intake and rebuilt the tbi...

well right now i'm still tbi set up, but i'm leaning towards a carb conversion but i have a feeling it's going to be a complete pain, but i'm about to totally redo the car bumper to bumper

So i'm currently building a sbc 350, i just gutted everything out and already started assembling with all new internals... I'm still going with 350 got a brand new internal/external balanced scat...

Check your fuses, and I changed all of that stuff too, and still had my
Timing off, it's never a bad Idea to take of four 3/8 bolts off the valve cover and reset tdc so you know you're positive

If its cranking and not firing it's your timing when you pulled dist out its out of whack, can't go by timing mark if your balancer is old, take driver side valve cover off, get a 5/8 socket and...

I do have a set of longtubes waiting to be installed, and i also am thinking about going tbi because it's much easier dealing with the trans and etc... thank you for your help it does get pricier...

get underneath the car, try to wiggle the post on the solenoid if it moves it's bad if you saw smoke than that mean the solenoid either A went out or B the fusable link connected to the solenoid blew...

You're battery solenoid is bad, if your getting gauge readings when you turn ignition that's what's wrong is your starter is not engaging, for example the battery cable goes straight to the starter...

So that's probably why it's running like crap then? so unplug the electronics... re find tdc and replug in the electronics and the rotor should be pointing to the #1 cylinder?

EST? and i did have a distributor change recently, the car was running but sounded like crap and now after plugging that vacuum the right way i get flame through throttle body
