Re: LO3 to LT1, good, bad, and ugly?

Yeah that would explain why I couldn't find it. I was simply thinking of keeping the carb because I did a carb swap on my LO3 and the simplicity of it is amazing.. And I've heard Demon makes such...

Re: LO3 to LT1, good, bad, and ugly?

Call me old fashioned, but I wanted to stay w/ a carb if at all possible. Instead of switching the LT1 to carb, what was the carburated 350's that came in 3rd gen camaros? I thought L98's were fuel...

LO3 to LT1, good, bad, and ugly?

So I recently did a build-up of my LO3 in my 89' RS, and I was impressed at first.. Following a few board leaders on what to do, and how to do it.. but I must have messed something up because now the...

Re: A few miscellaneous questions..

1) Yes, mine does the same thing.

2) I had a 195 stat in my car when I got it, and sitting in traffic she would frequently roam up to 220-230* F, I swapped the 195 with a 160 and saw a night and...

Re: 305 head choices

Went over my budget by 200$.. so now I gotta wait for my next paycheck before I top off the setup with a demon 650. The car feels so much more powerful though, I don't like the fact that I can't hook...

Re: 305 head choices

Also, does anyone have any recommendations on gears? When I bought my car i was told it had a posi in it with 4.56's, which is believable because both tires will light right up, and it won't hook AT...

Re: H/C/I TBI 305

Undercover, how do you figure? I spent less than 1,500$ on my build because I did all the work myself, and turned the 170 HP slug into a 328 HP street car, and I'm looking into N20 as we speak.

Re: Looking to buy a 92 rs. Is this guy asking too much?

I paid 2,000$ for my 89' RS with 68,000 original miles, not a single dent on the body.. garage kept, no cracks or fading on the dash, freshly rebuilt 700R4 and the start of a decent 305 build. Car is...

Re: Project MightyMouse, Codenamed LB4: The Forbidden Motor

Re: In Tank Fuel Pump

Curious as too why you'd drop the tank? Lay your rear seats down, remove the carpeting and cut out the sheet metal over the tank, that's what I did.. way easier.

305 head choices

I have an 89' RS, 305 LO3 converted to carb. Not looking to build a 10 second car, looking for a very peppy daily driver using my 68,000 original mile engine, and freshly rebuilt tranny.
