thanks for the input guys, I just pulled the heads off and oil pan and discovered it has the 4 valve relive pistons heads and is a 4 bolt main!!! so that kinda changes my plans for this motor...

side by side they only measured near a 1/4 of an inch didn't seem like they were too big

i didnt get to in depth with it,just figured I could get more out of the cam's lift with longer rods after seeing what some people have done with there head work

Appreciate the reply, it's a jegs 200105 flat Tappet roughly .460 .480 lift, I checked the rockers and pushrods for any kind of premature wear but nothing, lifters are sound there valley too,...

Thanks for reply, Its actually a flat tappet, I put a Jegs 200105 cam in,lifts around .460 in. and 480 ex.

I did, im sure im no where near 360 with stock heads and 600DP,all depends on what you get and your budget

like I said theres different factors, if you go to a carb from tbi, theres 400$ alone for a holley 4150... mine cost me about 800$ in change, 390$ of which went toward a better carb then I originally...

Im "roughly" going off my current build and similar builds ive seen with almost exact mods expect swapped heads, motor dynoed 400HP

Also any bigger of a cam id need a bigger stall and bigger...
