ya i have tried doing that but there is no response. i have done it in the past and it worked then. if the gear was stripped would the motor still turn?

hatch switch

the hatch motor only goes up or down when the hatch switch is held down. also the light in the hatch turns off whenever the hatch switch is let go. i kinda think this happened once back in the day...

the tips on my 92 rs are tucked up under the trunk and are about 4 inches back from the bumper edge. you cant even see them unless ur mad far away or looking under the car really.

in my 92 rs 305 camaro there is a fuse holder right below where the sail panel(speakers) are. but there was no fuse in it and it connects to the wiring harness. there were no original speakers there...
