I had a Yellow top in my Camaro for almost 20 years before it gave up. Most have done something wrong :)
OK didn't drive it much because I now live 5000 miles away from where the car is.

So you need to use the springs from old LS1 cables or does it work fine without the springs.

If it won't turn over then it's probably the "yellow/purple wires ". Is it connected to the switch on clutch pedal and is the switch adjusted properly (on my 85 you can adjust it don't know about...
