wound up solving my own problems a reminder to all GROUNDS GROUNDS GROUNDS GROUNDS on a near thirty year old car check and recheck and then check again the GROUNDS.

ran through the ENTIRE harness underhood twice.

ok so the car was charging just fine until a while ago it started to charge...

update. because the ignition switch was replaced last summer. one of the bolt worked loose and caused the actuator not to fully reach the switching point. solution retighten the ignition switch and...

new issue find the break in the power. :gocrazy:
symptoms car powers on will not turnover no draw on power when trying to start engine.

ruled out: neutral safety(jumper test), starter...

ok so. I go out to the car yesterday and turn the key the car cranks for five seconds and then i stop. went to try again and nothing. starter doesn't move and there is no voltage drop on the dash....
