So, i spoke with arp and they said 80 ft lbs with the studs i got. 70 ft lbs if it is bolt style, use a thread sealer in the water jacket holes and there torque past on the nut/washer side.

Whats the actual head torq specs with the hex style arp head bolts i have seen everything from 60-82 ftlbs. Thats a bit of a gap.

As far as the shaking... i found out it was pushing out some of the spark plugs😳...

Runs better now.......plugs look super good though.

Ok, thanks... when its all warmed up how firm are your radiator upper and lower hoses, i can squeeze them but not too much they are pretty hard.

98 vortec block from a suburban.......

Turned it into a 383.. my question is, on the front do i need to put in the hose going from the water pump to the intake?

I think its a bypass something...

Ah i see...... im new to the swing points.... thought i have an idea on how it works......

I have had this $6E.xdf for a couple years, not sure if its the expanded one or not.... not sure how to...

On the timing where it showed little knock i took 1* of timing out of each of those cells..and now i think back to my blm.... question on the blm.

If im targeting a little lower than 128 which is...

Been working on it for most of the night.:)

I ended up taking 3* more of timing out.......

I took that other 4* of timing out all across the board, is it suppose to get leaner when i do that?

Also when i attempted to make it more rich, she starts shaking. Also the knocks came back when...

I believe im able to get e85, but dont know if i can run that.....
i thought you needed to do lots of other things to make it run on e85....

If i just putnit in i dont think that would be good......

Ah, i see.... thanks...the more i hang with you guys the more i learn.... thank you.......

She runs super good, and is very strong.... i think the cam matches fairly well.

you can check the settings I have, figure it would be easier this way, I want to learn how to do this the right way, I have been learning the best I can. there is sooooo much to learn.

Usually dont actually get alot of KR any more , just what i posted earlier, i was alot worse but it really cleaned up, i usually get it at really heavy throttle.

Kr is what the computer pulls out...

Head gasket- felpro 1094-

Intake set is, felpro ms98000t

These are the gaskets i used, i took it to a machine shop here, the guy is very well trusted and installed it to spec, but am not sure...

When i ordered the stroker kit, the guy said it was 10:1 cr, but dont remember if that was with the stock heads, im running vortec. So i guess not 100% sure on my compression ratio.

Idle target is 700 rpm, was told this would help idle, i had it set at 650 but seems it would still idle at 700.....

For my minimal idle my idle adjustment screw is MAXED out... and unless i ever...
