So it's been a painfully long process only having about an hour to work on it during the weekdays, and a struggle finding some parts but its finally done and going in tomorrow. I will attach photos...

Okay so I feel a little silly now, bell housing as you all confirmed most defiantly fit just fine. the dowel pins indeed just needed to be cleaned off. I'm going to go make sure the flywheel I bought...

Im swapping the GM crate motor 10067353 into my 86 camaro, and the bell housing from the 305 doesn't fit onto the 350, and I don't know offhand what the stock manual 5 speed transmission is that came...

Thank you for the advice. I chose to swap this engine in because it is my very first project car, and id rather build up this 350 then the 305 with over 300,000 km. to rebuild it would cost the same...

yeah it is that hole. i couldent fit a wire through let alone the sender units and bulky oil line with all the wires in it already. i can take a picture of it.
