I'm sure there is, but I'm not sure I want it. So many leather wheels get the leather all twisted up and it often seems to be related to the pad going bad. Is it even needed? I'll let you know...

The wheel leather is folded over like that around the spokes, but not anywhere else. The holes are only about 1/8 (or less) from the edge.

Also, a Sailmakers Palm makes all the difference when stitching. The needles that come with the $15 leather are a little short to hold correctly with the palm, but it works....

Here is a picture with the $15 leather wrap I bought. You may be able to tell that it is way to wide for the wheel, but the circumference is about right....

I removed the tarry mess that was under the original leather using an ice scraper that I use on my windshield on cold mornings and a bunch of WD-40. It took about 10 minutes.

That is exactly my point. There were at least two different designs, but I think that there was a third for the 82 to 83.5 cars.
In any case the bushing is advertised at fitting 1982 -> 2002 cars...

So that is whole system, not just a bolt on caliper replacement.
It looks like a nice setup. The separate drum parking brake probably works well.

My guess would be that the studs were replaced with longer ones. Probably for use with aftermarket wheels or "low-buck" wheel spacers.
