Hood weight question

I have a factory steel hood and know what it weighs. I want to get a factory fiberglass hood if they are lighter.. What does a factory fiberglass hood weight?

Has anyone just welded steel plate to the cast center? I know cast steel is okay to weld. I do iy on my LS manifolds.

Is there a 2" drop spindle that uses the OEM brakes available? The Racecraft spindle require adaptor and different discs.

I have read the following numbers:
IROC .347
Z28 .339

What is the Cd for a regular Camaro and/or a RS?
