Their reply. Apparently grinding in required, despite in the part description it states "no grinding required". I asked what I wasn't understanding in the part description.

Had some issues with mine. I emailed UMI today and am awaiting a reply.

Here's the driver's side with no issues, of coarse I put that side together and the issues came up with the passenger side....

The passenger side either has to much metal left hanging from the "tab" or the bolt hole was drilled in the wrong spot. ...

Old K member came out surprisingly easy, the bolts turned fairly easy. I just took it out with hand tools and didn't even need a crazy long...

Getting it ripped apart, everything came apart fairly smooth. Still need to get the A-arm out to get new bushings pressed in.

:yup: T5's are only rated to about 280-300 ft/lbs and don't hold up to much abuse. The only thing that a T5 would have going for it in your car is that your engine is stock. If you have the cash...

LT1's have D port heads so there'd be an issue there seeing you don't have an LT1 in your car. I also think you'd run into other clearance issues

Well I threw the warmed over LG4 on Craigslist and had a bite on it. Guy came and put money down on it, so I pulled the motor today so I'm onto bigger and better things. Didn't even get 400 miles...

I just put a lunati cam in my LG4, home ported the heads and the difference was night and day from stock even with having stock manifolds yet. Specs are in my sig. Haven't had it to the track yet.
