Carefully warm the new seals with a heat gun then close the door and leave it for a while. You may notice a slight improvement, if so you can repeat several times until the seal crush areas are...

Working on an 86, this car has never been hit and the quarters are factory. The door gap at the pass side rear to quarter is even but wide enough to see inside. I had to move it back at least 1/8"...

Of the 3 bolts per hinge only 2 are adjustable and the third isn't (damn engineers). To get a full up/down/fore/aft range of adjustment you have to drill out the non adjusting bolt hole to a larger...

Adjusting Door for Flush Fit

On the rear of the door where it meets the quarter the bottom of the door is flush and the top is in about 1/8". It appears the door should be rotated a bit but can't since the hinge to door is not...
