Re: Not sure if its been asked but, whats the WORST. L98: heads OR cam

Silly question, probably, but would slapping 1.6 ratio rockers on a stock cam/head L98 be worth doing if the rockers are super cheap/free and was already doing valve cover gaskets?

Re: custom bezels

I was planning a vintage Alpine cassette and 1/2 DIN eq... but I think that plate with GTA emblem in red would be sweet... decisions, decisions. Would have to skip the EQ, which is no big deal.

Re: range rover p38 highline system popping sound

I've had a couple P38's and worked on many- they are nice vehicles, but labor intensive... you really have to love one to keep it as it ages.

Nice looking machine. One of my better flips was buying an overheated P38 with 60K on it and MINT for under a grand and fixed for $600 in parts and a LOT of my labor for $7200. Picked up an 02...

Re: 18" crosslace

$1400-$1600 is not bad if they aren't gravity cast Chinese stuff. Unfortunately, most "custom" runs of wheels these days seem to just be $100 wheels being sold for way too much.
