Thats what I was thinking. Watching other people do it and all it seemed to either roll out or just take a quick pry. I spent three hours trying to figure out how to get it out and it hardly budged....

Probably a good idea. I'm not familiar with them, what exactly are their purpose? Does it measure gears or just anything or-?

Perhaps not. Although I am not quite sure what the brakes would do as they are sitting off the rotors.

I assume you got it out. Did you in fact use a crowbar or did you end up hammering the pinion? Trying to get the Carrier out of a ‘04 Suburban and it just won’t come out with various sizes of...
