Re: KYB AGX front struts

Both struts are virtually brand new and work perfectly, only about 100 miles on each.

Re: Worth buying used ws6 springs?

You bring up some excellent points I haven't considered before actually. I'll take pictures later this month and post them on here to see if anyone can spot something I'm missing, but I'm glad you...

Re: Worth buying used ws6 springs?

Hopefully I won't have that issue if I end up getting used springs. It seems like the 3.8 settles out like a heavy v8, definitely not a light one for sure.

Re: Worth buying used ws6 springs?

Didn't want the springs sitting around since I have a hoarding problem as it is so I just threw them away. Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20. I figured since they are generic ws6 springs it might be worth...

Worth buying used ws6 springs?

Here goes my 3rd post about this...
So this probably doesn't make any sense, but it's been on my mind for a while. Obviously no aftermarket company makes true OEM springs for these cars, we can get...

Re: Front weight jacks

Ok just saw all your messages at once. I actually returned the aftermarket a arms, because they were impossible to get the spring into without a special spring compressor so we ended up rebuilding...

Re: Front weight jacks

It was my impression that the height with the weight jacks unadjusted was supposed to mimic "stock" ride height, but I can't verify that. Not sure what you mean when you say they are "intended for...

Re: Front weight jacks

I'm only considering weight jacks for the front of the car, just chose UMI as my first choice but if GC is better for my application then I'd go that route.

Re: Front weight jacks

Well I'm considering KONIs, but have KYBs installed now, which might go back on, still not sure about that but potentially either.

Re: Front weight jacks

UMI offers the 850 in the front, I'm still considering KONIs but not sure yet, currently running KYBs in the front and not all that amazing in my opinion. I have no issue with an aggressive build...

Re: Front weight jacks

Well, I'm not actually looking for a "race ready" setup here, Just an adjustable spring for a street setup. I like UMI from previous experience and it sounds like their weight jacks are pretty...

Re: Front weight jacks

What spring rate are you running? I unfortunately don't have any experience with super stiff suspension, since all my cars are pretty driver level, so gauging my preference is not possible. Central...

Re: Front weight jacks

I appreciate the response. My first choice was to cut the springs but I am skeptical about doing it because I'm not trying to have to take the front apart again Incase I'm still not happy with...

Front weight jacks

Re: KYB strut issues

YEs it has the 1LE package, I believe it was standard. But I assume that wouldn't change the thickness of that mounting point. Unfortunately the car is going to need to be driven before that gets...

KYB strut issues

So I'll just get to the point. We just installed KYB struts in the front of the TTA as well as new KYB strut mounts. They didn't completely clamp to the spindle and left a gap and when driving over...
