Re: Car sat for 4 days or so... battery died?

Same thing happened to my now gone 91 GTA. I also had a low voltage problem. Changed battery, alt, some wiring...never found the problem.

Re: Firebird hood vents on a camaro

Will water be a problem with the cutout under the vents like that? I'm thinking about doing it to my Trans Am.

Re: T/A Fender Vents

I think we are have been looking at these vents the wrong way for too long. Note that the ad talks about pressure build up. Not getting heat out. I think these are made to relieve air pressure built...

Re: Hmmm making 85-92 Trans Am hood functional?

Well, if at least some cool air gets sucked by the intake then, it's a win. It's free and it can't hurt so I will do this to my car as well. Can you confirm the hole you made actually connects to the...

Re: Hmmm making 85-92 Trans Am hood functional?

That's interesting. Nice job! Kind of like the Durango and other Ram Air hoods do Durango Ram Air (https://www.dodgedurango.net/attachments/image-jpg.20273) . Have you tried blowing some air through...

Re: 93-97 Nose Bird

To be honest, I do like the GTA emblems but, it is not a GTA and putting some emblems on would be against my rules. I don't think the emblems are for old man's Buick. Ferraris, Porsches,...

Re: 93-97 Nose Bird

Trying to avoid small stickers. A giant one on the hood wouldn't be an option. I had it at some point in a 91 GTA I had, before the RAI hood. Looked good but is not what I'm looking for on the 88 TA....

93-97 Nose Bird

Has anyone put a 93-97 embossed bird emblem on the nose of a third gen? I now own a non-GTA Trans Am and the sticker decals leave a lot to be desired, compared to the cloissone emblems. Anyone?...

Re: Aftermarket Cold Air Intake

This is the best custom CAI for a Firebird I've seen so far. Great job! Dimensions or template would be awesome! I want to fabricate 2 of them for a custom version of the SLP dual intake.

Re: Edelbrock ProFlo Xt manifold for sbc

I just got my hands on one, so I'll know for sure soon enough. I really hope it does. Having a short runner intake that fits under the hood plus not having to burn chips for tuning would be amazing.
