Best way to test gauges?
The fuel gauge and odometers randomly stopped working. So I have the cluster out, disassembled, but need to know what resistances, voltages, etc I need to check for.

I checked fuel pressure on a brand new lifetime pump and its reading 45 at key turn. Shouldnt 5.7 TPI get about 60 or 70?

I dont think swapping out an ECM is that uncommon. Both Z28s I have had both had an ECM swap at the dealer. I dont know if there was a recall, or they just eventually died. Even the car I have now...

Just a guess but maybe its because you ran the engine too fast. I read that you need to run it 300rpm over idle. So about 1000rpm.
