not sure about increasing thresholds but here is a link that shows the schematic on the bottom of the page for troubleshooting the maf.

I am having a similar problem.......try disconnecting your maf and cleaning up the plug connection. Also do a visual on the wiring going into the plug.
My wiring was bent going into the plug...

yes they are - Dual valve cover bolt pattern is standard .. just to clarify they are for -- 350 cid to 400 cid engines from 1955-86.

hey lakers73kb8 these would not fit on your hoe.

Upon further viewing on their website -- Available for 1987 to present engines with center bolt valve covers and 2 center intake bolts at 72°...

It is NOT the polished version.
I used stock injectors, but I was going to upgrade a bigger size if I was keeping.
fmu -- Fuel Management Unit-plugs into your stock fuel lines (shown in manual)
