Anyways, my original intent in posting, I think you should consider swapping to a water pump from a caprice LT1. It will allow you to cleanup the heater core...

Thanks for the help guys. I'm installing a way more modern drivetrain at the same time, so I won't have a cable to drive the speedo anyways...thats part of my driving force behind the interior...

The front of the RamJet is angled down slightly too...this should aid in hood clearance around the throttle body. I have a perfectly good LT1 that I can swap into my camaro but I've changed my mind...

I was curious if anybody has done this using a caprice LT1 harness yet? The 8th letter of the VIN on my car (86 IROC, formerly a TPI 305 car) is F if that helps (far as I know it was a 305 TPI car)....

I just picked up an 86 IROC, it's a fairly late 86, has the 145 MPH speedometer.

Anyways, I plan on swapping in an LT1/T56 drivetrain into the car, and I want to preserve that setups 100%...
