Is the block an '89? Do you know what kind of cam is in the motor? Is it a roller cam? What compression ratio does the motor have? I may be able to pick it up. I have family in Maryland.

Hey thanks for your help. Did you mean that the 406 is a 1 piece rear main and the T56 flywheel is for the two piece rear main.

The 454 is externally balanced. The flywheel I have is for a 454 but since the flywheel is bigger than the LT1's the pressure plate won't reach the holes to bolt up. I'm wondering if I can't re-drill...

Actually I think that all the LT1's were 2 bolt even the vette motors. The 4 bolt blocks were the LT4's I think.

Those headers worked out great. So all you had to do is massage the floor on the passenger side and trim the motor mounts right? I never heard you mention were you could get these headers.
