Is there any way to fool a knock sensor. It is retarding my timing when I try to pass somebody. The motor has some piston slap that is causing the problems.

It is a very good idea to stay away from Safelite their windshields fit terribly, I would know I installed them for 5 1/2 years. LOF is one of the best, they are called Pilkington now.

Does the car turn over? If it does not I would check your battery connections, they could be loose or corroded. This would allow the lights to come on, but not have enough to turn the car over.

I would put the 700 in, if you do much highway driving, you will miss the overdrive. I just got done switching mine over to the 350, and I miss my overdrive, but it will only be driven on short trips.

Are you sure it is not leaking from where the oil pressure line comes from, if you had to replace because the line melted it is possible for that compression fitting not sealling correctly.
