Ok so this is no big deal but I was wondering about something.I can get an edelbrock or a Russell fuel pump that comes with the strainer and other stuff for like 30 bucks more than buying the delco...

well I replace the regulator diaphragm and the fuel filter.Its still not going over 30psi so I guess I'll start researching how to change the fuel pump..

I just ordered it..I need one anyway and I bought a new fuel filter yesterday so I'll just do it all at once...now I have to find a good torx bit to remove the regulator with since I've twisted off...

Yep my thoughts exactly....I thought I was going crazy and messing with the wrong line even though I knew I wasn't...The gauge is connected to the schrader valve under the map sensor on the fuel rail.

well the test I'm conducting is illustrated in the shop manual as checking the pressure regulator and states to
"have ignition off,apply 12 volts to fuel pump test connector,slowly pinch fuel...
