K, my hunch was right…

My MAP-A was wired to black (MAF-B) not Black White (MAF-A)

Probably sounds like gibberish to most 🤣

I’ll make the appropriate changes and see what happens…

Looking back at everything I think that I went wrong at MAP-A pin….
I think that I should have rewired to MAF-A (black /white )

I think I figured out what part of my problem is…
I think I may have wired the MAP sensor incorrectly…

The new sensor gave me the same reading, so…..

It was a 2 BAR MAP Sensor
just bought a 3 BAR (it’s what was available)

I had installed my old E3 std temp plugs initially…
but I’m replacing them with Autolite 3923 as per AFR’s website …

K, I’ve got a faulty MAP sensor (was reading 12 lbs boost with the engine off 🤣(funny, not funny)

I’ve ordered a new one and spark plugs as well… the current plugs have to be super fouled by now…...

In hindsight I shoulda noticed the boost reading and stopped short of trying to fire it up.

The timing was set with the EST wire...

wideband said 10:1 !!!

I think I fouled the plugs bad because it won’t start anymore…

looking back at the tune I noticed that my WUD said cAFR 3.8!!!...

After it was all said and done ….
It looks like the Ignition control module took a dump…
No spark…
Tested the coil it’s good
Need a new ICM

I was gonna add the comm port to the smaller connector A1 but it’s already full. 🤷‍♂️

So I go check out what’s in A1 for a 1989 5.7L TPI ECU...

I took a few minutes to post a YouTube video on my page “Sammy’s Garage”
The sound is bad, but I know why… (GoPro was in a sealed case….)
and I lost a bunch of wiring and battery box mounting...

OMG, didn’t realize that the EBL needed a NB o2 signal so I bought an OEM o2 sensor and welded in another bung. I thought that it would use the WB somehow….

After a bunch of fighting with the lack of space I bit the bullet….
Gotta unbolt the driver side from the head and v-band to get #1...

Mounted the Moroso battery box in the hatch.

Made terminal ends on all the wires in the hatch and connected them.
Battery positive and alternator power wire to one lug on the kill switch and the...

Already ran the battery cable to the front where I’m gonna have a positive bulkhead and tie in with the existing cables.

Well upon further investigation….

looks like if it’s relocated anywhere there has to be a kill switch to run at the track (test n tune or not)

and with that a sealed battery box. No questions...
