carb spacer

I put a 1/4 spacer under carb now it whistles loud.
Stock 350 chevy in my Elky edelbrock 750. Anyone (heard) of this.

You can do it take your time one at a time. Go to the hardware store buy a plastic puddey knif grind it down to fit the top half of main bearing and tap the top half out.Be sure to change the oil...

If you are looking at the frount of the carb it should be the vac port on the right or the carb adjustment screws. You want vac at idel ,off win you give it the gas.
