No alarm, and starter cranks normal. Weird part about, it's not and issue where I can let it sit for 20 minutes and it'll be fine. I can let it sit for hours and it still acts up. I'm stuck at this...

Just went out and checked again. cycled the key 6 times and still no fuel pressure until turning the motor over. Once running fuel pressure fluctuates between 40-42psi with FPR vac hose connected....

forgot to mention that, I did check the vac hose on the FPR, bone dry. been checking oil for fuel contamination since Im not able to pull the fuel rail, and haven't found any fuel in the oil...

nope. no back firing, and steady rpm while driving. at idle its just rough/shaky, rpm's only move withing 100. it's basically acting like it's flooding, but the computer says its lean. all this...

Never said I was smelling RAW fuel, the smell is coming from the tailpipe, and it is burnt fuel, excessive burnt fuel.

Yes, computer is recording a lean condition, but the exhaust is telling me there's too much fuel as for Injectors, haven't ohm tested yet, but they're a week old. Fuel pump is within a year old....

IAC is good, while checking things with the car running, unplugged the TPS and the idle leveled out, haven't checked the voltage yet, but could this be a sign the TPS is bad?

yeah, the bad part around here is when a tpi car goes into the jy, its usually stripped before it ever hits the yard. i'm hoping at this point that after i drive it for a few days it will level out....

it is possible. it just takes a little work. the key is to get a mini tube cutter, the lines will give just enough to cut them. just takes a little time, and patience. dont rush it.

correct...and if you're going to use the hoses you don't really need to cut any extra. The hoses will basically just sleeve over the lines(and clamp of course)

it'll fit if you have a small tubing cutter that you can get at any parts store. thats how i did mine, there's just enough give in the lines to get the cutter in.

servo...regardless of what the purists will say, it's not that bad to cut the access panel. I did the same thing because previous owners welded the enitre exhaust and i didnt have the room to drop....

yes, that was my problem. i never said that it cut off due to low oil pressure, i said it cut off due to a fault in the switch. you just focused on one part of my statement to argue with.

almost correct....low oil pressure results in interrupted power to fuel pump, so the engine isn't destroyed by lack of oil. speaking from experience. A short in the switch resulted in loss of power...

the oil pressure sensor doubles as a fuel pump cut-off. if it leaks, as we all know they do, might be worth looking into. had it happen to me last year.
