Re: Best Intake I can get

This might be based off of some poorly written edelbrock advertising stating that their lower profile elbows lose no power (compared to the tall one) utility 400hp, which at that point there are...

That is a damn strong motor. Keep me posted (if you don't mind, send me a PM if you don't see me on here) on your motor both NA and FI. I really am excited to see it.

I played around with desktop...

Re: wideband?'s- pump shot values, exhaust leaks and wot

Thanks guys, I got it to go away by adding some fuel to the "AE Factor % BPW Inj" table I think. It is still spiking but it drops down to 11 and then goes to where it should, I am going to play with...

Re: Has anyone seen a dyno comparison between Pro-Flo XT and anything else?

Orr, do you have specs and dyno results of an NA build using that Vic EFI?

I'd be very interested in trying to model it in DD2003. There really aren't that many options for intakes so I usually...

Re: Has anyone seen a dyno comparison between Pro-Flo XT and anything else?

Orr, I believe it. What rpm was he turning? Wherever I read it, it was talking about 400+ cid motors. The mr has good flow but if you can get similar flow with longer runners than 3.5" it would be...

Re: Has anyone seen a dyno comparison between Pro-Flo XT and anything else?

I agree, I would like to see the edelbrock victor efi though iirc, the victor efi is not a vic Jr and is advertised for 3-8k rpm and larger cube motors. I doubt it would trump the HSR except in...

Re: Help me decide

You listed them in order of most torque to least basically. I think 1 or 2 would be best for a mild 350, though a different application out of those two I would run he superram.

Re: Has anyone seen a dyno comparison between Pro-Flo XT and anything else?

See the other XT threads for some thoughts on the intake.

As for comparisons, there is limited information on the XT out there:

1) ProFlo XT vs RPM AirGap

Re: wideband?'s- pump shot values, exhaust leaks and wot

Thanks Orr!

I can't hear the leak but I figured I'd ask before getting all worked up and messing with the tune. I figure at WOT, leak or no leak it will probably be correct, just didn't know how...

wideband?'s- pump shot values, exhaust leaks and wot

Re: HSR VS Edelbrock Pro-Flow XT

Great pics of the XT, interesting, Edelbrock told me you could port it out to a 2.6-2.7 CSA. A 1206 will be thin up top but they made it sound like it should work. Good to know... They also told me...

Re: Porting?: How much power am I leaving on the table?

First thing first, that is actually a 1205 gasket. Not a 1206, so they really are 1204 ports right now.

I would hope it would eek a bit more HP out of it but who...

Porting?: How much power am I leaving on the table?

This is the intake not ported and with a 1205 gasket (*corrected). The heads are 1206 but with rounded corners, AFR 1095 Comp series. The intake is closer to a 1204 I think? Seems a bit gratuitous...
