I grabbed a gear reduction one off a forth gen camaro in the junkyard, , pulled it apart and cleaned it and relubed it , it was totally nasty . Works effortlessly on my 35 with 10 to 1 compression...

No need for me to do research, the cars sag and twist , setting the car on jackstands at the frame sections helps load to car back to original. you do yours like you want, but mine is perfect now....

This is wrong, you dont want the car on the wheels as the whole problem with these cars is they sag in the middle, with the car on a lift the body returns to the as built posture. I did mine that way...

Thanks, its down right now, replacing the rear brake line I burned a hole in with some slag while welding in my sub frame connectors and Im replacing all the clutch hydraulics , and adding an astro...

if you want a better convertor, pick one up from a mid 90s tolower 2000 S10 with a 4.3, highest stock convertor there is .

yea my oil cooler only had the center tube that threaded onto the reguler adapter, its not boled like the other cars with the two bolts .

Stock ones work fine, the runner ports are not bigger than the stock gasket bores. I just installed a set on mine.

a note if you use the smaller f body flywheel the vortec block will have to be drilled and tapped for the smaller flywheel starter,, dont ask me how I know,..lol

no The plastic tray was there , I just didnt grab it, it was a long hot day, but this junkyard is cool , they have a old manual tire machine setup you can use to remove the tires from the rims so...
