First thing i'd do is go with a bigger stall. 2200 is too low for what you want to do. Step up to a 3000+. Gears are fine. I ran 13.6 with my 2.73's and 3000 stall.

As for heads.. I like trick...

If i had a TPI i would agree with you. I'm running a carb setup with a crate 350 and i haven't ever had a problem.

It's also not really a daily driver. It's more of a spring/summer car. :D
