Re: Call for Cal Docs

Hi, Bob.

I'm looking for copies of the calibration parameter summaries or similar data. Yes, there are some very nice hacs that have been carefully commented and can be used without question. But...

Re: Call for Cal Docs

No one? Sitting on this stuff is like sitting on original development documents for the Zilog Z80. It's just not in high demand like it once was.

There are two of these posted on gearhead efi...

Re: code 59 and DIS ignition anyone using this combo?

What is happening, particularly, regarding a negative value for a timing constant is that the area between the maximum and minimum constants must not be outside the range of the values typically...

Re: attention: prominator users who want a new lappy

I've used only a Thinkpad for many years. I finally bought a Compaq, but still haven't actually used it for tuning since the IBM is tried n true.

Downside to the IBM is it likes to "forget" that...

Re: Question about low rpm tuning.

It's really tough to give suggestions without driving the car. Provided that the electrical and mechanical components are ok, I've found that when light throttle surging isn't due to EGR or cam...

Nice article at the top.

Corner carver's forums open to read for non-member... what else needed to see what they're about? Seems like a kewl site.

Re: July 6-7-8th Bruce aka Grumpy Memorial Pow Wow Thread

Hi, Guys.

You can remove me from the list of attendees. I was never really a contender once the date was changed. I guess that's what happens when you have limited time off and happen to pick...

Re: July 14th Memorial PowWow for Grumpy

I'm in about the same situation regarding a date. I had just submitted a time off request for time around the 14th when Craig found out about the race deal. I could do the 21st of July if that's a...

Re: July 14th Memorial PowWow for Grumpy

The race has been an issue in prior years, IIRC. The weekend of the 7th will be real tough for me. In our 2 tech shop, the "other guy" gets the first 2 weeks in July without fail. There's a chance...

Re: TBI guys, its time to update!

I've seen the above info in a forum post. Thought it was here on thirdgen... Also found a post talking about "shorting" a specific pin. Wait just a minute while I hit up the Goog...

Re: Memorial POW-Wow for Bruce

July works, but not week around 4th.
August works.
Later than that is a no-go.

Greenville is nice but I'd love to see Scott's place. I guess that'd be a *few* more hours of driving for me.

The L03 engine you're thinking of is still running, BTW, and takes a 1/2 ton pickup from Epping NH to Boston area...
