So even though the specs say the power band is 1600-5800 rpm, because its going in a smaller engine it changes the power band? So would the cam have to be degreed?

Ah okay. I do have an auto and it has a 2500 stall. This would be going in a car that will be a daily driver so I didn't know if it would be too temperamental or not...

Oh I already have the carb stuff laying around that's why I was going to do that. Do you think a Holley stealth ram intake (or whatever the name of their version of tpi is) would develop more power...

Its an auto: 700R4 with a 2500 stall. How much more lift should they be machined for?...what are they capable of in the first place? and any other machine work that would be good for producing better...
