Where is the coolant sensor? Is that the one under the TB? also, I took the gauge out from the drive side head and installed a mechnical Temp gauge.

Where in the world do i mount an aftermarket temp gauge sender?

My K5 Blazer has two threaded "Bungs" on the thermo housing. So mounting that one was no problem. The thermo housing om my maro does not. Where do i put an aftermarket one? Its a 1992 Z28 350 BTW

I bought a aftermarket temp gauge. I let the car idle till it was in the "Red" I shut the engine off and i filled the overflow tank with hot coolant(I have the radiator cap with the little red relife...

No I agree with you 100%. The car overheats, that means there is a problem, not going to put a band aid over it and hope it holds. I put a switch on my old firebird cause all the wires where F'ed up...

Sweet. I ordered the Switch cause i drove the maro around today and It got very close to the red and would only cool to 220. Do these switches go bad? The new pump is VERY VERY VERY loud under a 1/4...

Alright I took both fans out and tested the motors . The main motor sounded like a bearing was about to go out(But it still spun up super fast) so i swapped the less used one(Air Cond.) to the main...

Before you do that I know it sounds stupid make sure there IS a fuse in the VSS spot. Mine did the same thing i just overlooked there not being a fuse in the VSS spot. Its a 20Amp BTW.

Yeah possibly. The fan doesnt seem to move too much air. (As opposed to other cars ive had with electric fans) Im thinking a nice Aluminum radiator, and a single big cooling fan!

Ive checked all fuses 5 times! Not the fuse. Is there a common wire that comes loose under the dash some where. Not a big deal it would be nice to have all my power stuff back.

ITs a 1992 Z28 5.7. She sat for 7 years. In the last 2 days ive done: Oil change, Air filters, cap, plugs, wires, rotor, fuel filter. Car purrs GREAT! Untill it heats up.
