Here's my EGR solenoid and plug replacement pics. I did bend the bracket on the new solenoid to fit by using a vise. The plug came from tpiparts.net, the solenoid can be found at any Kragen/O'rielly....

Ok- so here are my results....... IT ALL WORKS!!! The Corvette EGR Temp Sensor (with it's shorter pigtail) fit into the harness pug by the skin or it teeth. I did have to free a little of the plug...

Don't worry about it- we all fell it somewhere! lol... but on the brightside I did find these guys on ebay- got mine in the mail today, gonna try and fit it. If it doesn't fit stock, I'm gonna splice...

Does anyone think a MSD ignition box would help reduce NOx? a hotter spark=better combustion, right? But as I understand, NOx is the result of an efficient burn in the chamber...Egr actually de-tunes...

Copy all of that. I had to order a EGR solenoid online. So I'm stuck waiting for that... BUt will be doing the Seafoam cleaning, might take apart EGR and see if I can clean passageway a little better...

When you say "a little more ethanol in the gas". How do you mean? E85? or an additive? I'm guessing 10% of the total fuel in tank?

ps. I just finished re-aligning the TPS. it was set at 0.32, now it's at 0.51- also, noticed that 305sbc stated that EGR vacum could be an issue. Maybe I'll replace the EGR solenoid just to be safe....

The flat 6-pin over the battery plugs into the fan pigtail harness... I ordered a brand new one from tpiparts.net- the pig tailhas 2 male plugs into the fans, and 2 females plugs for relays.
