Hey 89 thanks for the help!! Found bad ground wire behind dist. That was broke. Redid wire ran it for about 20 miles no codes!! Still has a slight miss but I think tuneup will solve that. Was an LB9...

So I bought this 1992 TA 5.7 has a slight miss, so I checked timing and vacuum for leaks. All good... Did find an oil leak on rear of intake. So I took the intake off and installed new gaskets. Now...

I know that the 4L60eE is electronically shiffted and I am wanting to use my 700R4 tranny, how will the LT1 ECM act with those wires for the transmission not hooked up? Thanks!!!!!

Smog pump

Just got the car 2 days ago, I know this may be a dumb question but the belt is off the smog pump will this cause the car to have poor throttle responce? Didnt know if it would effect the vaccum....

Well I know the guy really well and he wants me to trade my four wheeler for the car. I dont ever ride the dang thing any more so might as well. But I did tell him that if I could not get it running...

I am about to buy a 1986 TA, I went out to the guys house to start it up and nothing put a battery in it out of my dads 85 TA and it cranked up fine but no spark, this car is cherry and I want it...
